RECAP OF AGENDA

Thank you to everyone who attended the IWCF Well Control Workshop and Annual General Meeting! Here’s a brief recap of the event:

Day 1 – 19 November 2024:
The event began with a comprehensive Well Control Workshop, exploring industry challenges, opportunities, and best practices. Attendees engaged in insightful panels on topics such as incident statistics, industry perspectives, training providers, managed pressure drilling, and the impact of human factors on well control. Experts from leading organisations shared their experiences and provided valuable insights into advancing safety, training, and technical approaches in well control.

Day 2 – 20 November 2024:
The IWCF Annual General Meeting offered attendees essential updates on last year’s achievements and future strategies. Highlights included a keynote address by Ron Leichsenring from the Dutch regulator SodM, who shared insights on well integrity and safety, followed by an interactive Q&A session where IWCF leaders addressed questions and key industry issues.
