Iraqi Drilling Center at Baghdad Oil Training Institute (BOTI), which is the first governmental training center of well drilling in Iraq, is managed and followed up by a National staff.
The Iraqi Drilling Center provides training and services at variety levels in the well drilling field / specialization through implementing a number of courses: IWCF, well drilling problems and stuck pipe using (DS-5000) drilling simulator. This center has been started since 2011, and more than 150 of various courses were implemented up to now.
The aim of the drilling center is to develop Iraqi drilling rig crew. Technically all the mentioned courses are updated and improved continuously and based on both API and IWCF standards.
